Internet Access

Our library has the facility of “Free Internet Access” for students as well as the staff. A computer with a Dial Up Internet Connection is placed near the librarian in the central library. We do motivate the students to use Internet for collection of data for their studies. Students of our college have gradually started showing interest in this facility and have started using the richness of available data on the Internet. A register of the users of this facility is also located and the management of users and allotment of time to use the internet is being looked after by the librarian. Depending upon the response from the students, we shall decide to expand the scope of this service and adding more computers for their use in future. Introducing this facility in the library, we suppose, is the first stage towards leading our students to the Cyber Age.
