Besides, we also teach Geography and Prakrit as subsidiary subjects. Six papers of each of these subjects are taught at F.Y.B.A. and S.Y.B.A. The knowledge of these subjects proves to be very helpful to the students for their future career. The students, who opt for their career of teachers, find the knowledge of Prakrit and Geography helpful at their respective schools. Sometimes, they succeed in getting jobs due to their formal education in the subsidiary subject. Unfortunately, the college had to face a double loss during the academic year 2004—05. The untimely death of Prof. G. V. Patel, the Head of the Department of Geography and the pre-mature retirement of Mr. Ashok. S. Shah, Head of the Department of Prakrit, left the both the departments in an orphaned stage. The college has, however, succeeded in obtaining the services of two temporary teachers for these two departments in time and the teaching of these two subjects is not allowed to suffer.
